We are a casual fine dining, community restaurant located in a 200-year-old building in the small town of Marshall, Virginia. We locally source our produce and meats and cook over a hearth within an open kitchen.
Since opening in 2016, we focus on offering a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere with a refined dining experience.
The team at Field & Main is small, flexible, and adaptable. We are a tight knit family that deeply values hospitality, excellence, creativity, intentionality, and community. Many people on our culinary team and food service staff have been with us since the day we opened.

All pay is commensurate with experience. Tips and bonuses offered in addition to base salary for certain positions.
Supports all aspects of front of house service including food running, side work, back waiting, busing tables, etc. Opportunities for advancement are available.

We are seeking an experienced line cook with a willingness to learn and grow within a tight-knit team environment.
The line cook is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food standards are met. This position supports the executive and sous chef's with all food preparation and kitchen maintenance. Successful candidate must be committed to excellence and hospitality.
We are expanding our front of house service team and interested in hiring experienced servers with a passion for creating memorable experiences for our guests.
The ideal candidate will have fine dining experience, a background in wine, a strong work ethic and a desire to collaborate within a team environment.
