Rochelle Barnett
Hospitality Coordinator
Rochelle joined the Field & Main team at the end of 2024, bringing with her decades of experience and a deep-rooted passion for hospitality. Originally from West Springfield, Virginia, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Longwood College before heading to the Outer Banks of North Carolina—initially for what was meant to be just one year of beach life before beginning a career in education.
That year turned into more than three decades. Rochelle quickly fell in love with the Outer Banks, its people, and the hospitality industry, making it her home while building an impressive career at some of the area’s most respected restaurants. Her experience includes working at various restaurants on the Outer Banks and managing the original Steamers Restaurant in Corolla and The Blue Point in Duck. She later transitioned into wine sales, serving local restaurants and retailers as a sales representative for major distributors.
Through extensive travel both across the country and abroad, Rochelle developed a growing appreciation for outdoor life, mountain landscapes, and scenic countrysides. After more than 30 years by the coast, she embraced a new chapter and relocated to beautiful Fauquier County, Virginia. Here, she continues to pursue her love of the outdoors, local wines, and exceptional hospitality as part of the Field & Main team.
Rochelle warmly manages reservations and coordinates all group dining experiences. With a keen eye for detail and a thoughtful, personalized approach, she ensures every guest experience at Field & Main feels seamless, welcoming, and truly memorable.
